Our Hokianga camp

WALT: write a blog post on our Hokianga camp.

On the 21st of November, we traveled to Hokianga for a very special camp with the year 5 and 6 students.

Our group and the rest of the camp stopped at an adventure park called

wairere boulders we all found the path and carried all the way to the loop while taking loads of pictures.

Then we drove to a small marae we were staying at called te whakarongotai,

we started unpacking all our language and possessions into the

whare and started the activities set out for the day.
The next morning we all woke up and got ready, I was so energetic.

We had breaky and packed our lunch for the day and waited until everyone was ready to leave,

we got into our car and went down to the wharf to wait for the boat so we could cross the water.

Finally, it was our turn and so we jumped on the boat and sailed to the sand dunes.

We slide down the dunes with our boards and it was awesome.

Soon we went back to the shore on the boat and went straight to see Tane mahuta.

I saw the huge trunk of Tane and was so amazed by the height and beauty,

we had to sketch the tree which was pretty hard since I couldn’t see half but it turned out great.

I thought our camp was absolutely amazing, what do you think about my post? What part did you like the

most?
