Nga Tau
For week 8 this week we had to count from 1-100 in Maori, we had to write down some of the numbers in Maori. We learned about compound words put in between the numbers, such as- ma and te.
We also learned a lot about how other countries wrote their numbers down and how they were able to count their possessions.

The seeing hawk
For reading this week we had to read a story about a koro and his kite, the seeing hawk. we had to find metaphors and smiles along with making a drawing and inserting it onto the slide.

measurement matters
This is our second measurement piece for week 8, it was really fun! We had answer a lot of height and distance questions. Some were tricky, but then you get the hang of it.

Flames of a pet
Flammable but kind, curious to the mind. We torture them until there dead, but if there lucky we’ll cut off there heads. Feeding off our coal, hoping to get a taste of a sausage roll. Starving in the night, humans aren’t so bright.
Beating the odds
Our reading for week eight focuses on resilience and perseverance, having a can do attitude.
