Literacy, week 10
We had done a writing sample a while back, and this week's literacy we had to focus on how our explanation was good or not good. In class, we had to pick (out of the chart) which one shows the best example of how you write, and then write about why you think that in the next box.

Basic fractions
For maths this week, we were focusing on basic fractions. I learned a lot about improper fractions and it gave me a more understanding of them. For one of the tasks we had to figure out the word problems and put them into improper fractions, which I thought was pretty hard at the start.

Literacy, week 9
Hey! For this week of literacy, we have been focusing on paragraphs, we learned how to identify the structure, main idea, and different types of sentences in paragraphs. We also had to experiment with our sentence structures using mostly complex sentences, while also having to figure out how to make our closing statement so that it would summarise our writing.
